Your mental health journey starts with a check-in with your primary care provider, followed by a visit with your dedicated therapist. Select "Behavioral Health" from the home screen of the River Health web or mobile app. Answer a few questions about your mental health, and your primary care provider will connect you to a therapist.
You can connect with your virtual primary care provider via text, audio, or video. Sign in to your River Health account, select "See a Doc Online," and follow the prompts to connect with your provider.
Finding the right therapist can be challenging. That's why River Health matches you to a therapist based on your preferences and health history. If you do not like your therapist, we will connect you to a new provider.
If medically appropriate, River Health will ship behavioral health medication on our formulary to your doorstep every month for $0, and shipping is always free for River Health members.
River Health provides comprehensive primary and behavioral health services only. The Primary Care Plan does not include emergency, surgical, or maternal care. However, your River Health primary care provider can refer you to the right specialist or hospital.
Yes. You can still enroll in a River Health Plan if you have a commercial health insurance plan, Medicare, or Medicaid.
River Health is not health insurance, so it is not an Affordable Care Act health insurance plan.
